Ahwatukee Preschool once again hosted its annual breakfast with Santa on Dec. 8. The children were dressed in beautiful holiday clothing eating muffins and fruit anxiously waiting for Santa. Around 8:45 a.m., the sound of jingle bells rang as Santa entered the Family Life Center at Mountain View Lutheran Church in Ahwatukee, to the delight of the children.

While the children waited for their turn to sit on Santa’s lap, they were able to make crafts at four different stations. They made a snowman out of coffee creamer bottles, wreaths, star ornaments and bracelets.

It was then time to sit on Santa’s lap. While the parents took pictures, the kids told Santa all their wishes for underneath the Christmas tree. Each child was treated to a candy cane from Santa.

The morning was filled with music, laughter, smiles and a great time was had by all the children and their families.
