Resident excels at state bodybuilding competition

Rafe Arlotti, a resident of Ahwatukee, recently competed in the National Physique Committee Arizona Open July 19-20. He earned first place in his weight class, lightweight and third overall. Rafe was, at 20 years old and 146 pounds, the youngest bodybuilder to compete, and the second lightest. It was also his first competition.

Rafe is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, a fitness instructor, as well as a nutritional consultant. A 2011 graduate of Desert Vista High School, and a junior at Arizona State University studying biological sciences.
