The Husband and Wife Law Team, personal injury attorneys Alexis and Mark Breyer of Ahwatukee, announced the 2012-13 edition of their teacher appreciation program that awards a teacher $250 each month for classroom supplies.
The Breyers wanted to do something to recognize this burden that many teachers knowingly take on when they choose their profession, so they founded the Teacher Appreciation program last year. Each month, they accept nominations for teachers from grades kindergarten through high school, and the teacher with the most nominations wins a $250 gift card for classroom supplies. This year, in addition to the teacher’s winnings, the students in the winning teacher’s class also get a pizza party courtesy of Peter Piper Pizza.
