The Governance Board of Jewish Family & Children’s Service (JFCS) has announced the appointment of two new board members: Noel Williams and Edna Ora Sitelman, Ed.D.
Sitelman has been involved with the agency for over 10 years, including five years as a board chairwoman. She has an extensive background in education, previously working as a professor, having a number of leadership positions. She also holds a doctorate degree in education.
Williams currently serves as a vice president of underwriting at SCF Arizona. With over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. This will be his first board position at a nonprofit organization.
The two new members join a 10-member board that consists of Rick Naimark, Phoenix deputy city manager; Robert Carr, business owner; Leesa Berens Weisz, attorney; Steven Friedman, attorney; Jerome Gutkin, real estate executive; Michael Johnson, city of Phoenix vice mayor; Andrew Pacheco, attorney; Armando Roman, business consultant; Carol Seidberg, business executive; and Paul Stander, M.D., chief medical officer.
