Students at Sonoran Science Academy-Ahwatukee had a special autograph to collect at the school’s Fall Book Fair recently, as fifth-grade teacher Daniel Trumpis signed copies of his recently published book, “Welcome to Harmony.”

The book, which is middle-grade fiction (ages 8-12), is filled with magic and monsters proved very popular with students, parents, and teachers at the Ahwatukee elementary school. “Welcome to Harmony” is Trumpis’ first book. He is currently working on a follow-up and has enough ideas that a series of books about life in the fictional town of Harmony may make him a regular Authors’ Night participant at Sonoran Science Academy-Ahwatukee’s Book Fair.
