A junior from Desert Vista High School was presented his Eagle Scout award last month at Pecos Community Center.

Kyle T. Fisher, 16, son of Harry Fisher and Don and Leslie Barrett of Ahwatukee Foothills, is a member of Troop 118 has been scouting since the first grade. His project for his award was to renovate the costume room at the high school.

After being very involved with Desert Vista's Thunder Speech Theater and Debate Company, Kyle saw this as his opportunity to give back. With the help of 52 volunteers and 700 logged service hours, he completed the project and earned his award.
