Teena Booth

Ahwatukee Foothills author and screenplay writer, Teena Booth, was recently nominated as one of the finalists for the 37th annual HUMANITAS prize for a second time, honoring great television and film writing for her work with the Lifetime Movie Network film, "Reviving Ophelia," based on the book, "Reviving Ophelia," by Mary Pipher, about parenting through rocky periods of adolescence. The movie takes a look at the abuse of teenage dating relationships.

Booth's other credits on Lifetime include "A Little Thing Called Murder," "Fab Five," "Sex & Lies in Sin City," "Pregnancy Pact," "Natalee Halloway," "The Wronged Man," "Bond of Silence," "Amish Grace," "The Hunt for the I-5 Killer," "ABC Family: Cyberbully," and upcoming movies, "The Drew Peterson Story" and "The Pregnancy Project."
