Sunbelt Holdings has appointed Melissa Scott property manager of the Arizona State University Research Park, a 320-acre research and development park for which Sunbelt Holdings has provided asset management services since 1992.

A nine-year veteran of the property management industry, Scott previously served as commercial property manager for Victoria Properties Management of Tempe, where she managed a portfolio of 16 office condominium associations.

Scott’s responsibilities at Sunbelt Holdings will include facility management of ASU Research Park for overseeing property maintenance and landscaping activities, creation and implementation of capital improvements, overseeing tenant building projects and lease administrative functions as well as maintaining tenant relations.

ASU Research Park is 89 percent leased with a total of 1.79 million square feet of completed improvements, and an additional approximately 350,000 square feet planned or under construction. Only 26 acres remain for ground lease in the park.
