Twenty-two different Girl Scout troops from Ahwatukee collected items for Easter baskets to donate to children at the Children’s Crisis Center.

Troop 261, with the help of a few other sister Girl Scouts, collected all of the baskets, sorted them, labeled them and drove them to the Child Crisis Center this past week.

Pam Eagan, a well known real estate agent in Ahwatukee, loaned them a moving truck to transport the baskets. The Child Crisis Center houses some children on its campus and also has children in foster care. The Girl Scouts were able to collect enough baskets for all of the kids in the shelter as well as those in foster care. This should brighten up the faces of some children going through some rough times right now.
