The Pat Tillman Foundation has announced that its annual signature fundraiser, Pat's Run, will take place on April 21. The annual event features a 4.2 mile run/walk and a .42 mile Kids Run. All events finish on the 42-yard line of Frank Kush Field inside Arizona State University's Sun Devil Stadium, symbolic of the No. 42 jersey Tillman wore while he was a Sun Devil football player.

In partnership with the Arizona State University Alumni Association, participants will also have the opportunity to run, walk and honor at shadow runs in select cities across the U.S. to celebrate Tillman's life and legacy.

Proceeds generated from the runs will support the Tillman Military Scholars program and directly impact hundreds of veterans, active service members and their dependents through educational scholarships at colleges and universities nationwide.

All registered participants and volunteers will be invited to join Team Tillman to raise additional funds and awareness to support the Foundation's efforts while earning exclusive Team Tillman Under Armour gear and race day benefits.

Pat's Run celebrates the life of Tillman, a scholar-athlete who first earned Arizona's respect through his academic achievements and accomplishments as a football player for Arizona State University from 1994-1997, and later in the NFL as a member of the Arizona Cardinals.

Tillman graduated from ASU in three and half years with a 3.87 GPA before being drafted by the Cardinals in 1998.
