Maria Porter, 37, passed away on June 28, 2012. She was surrounded by her loving family as she left for heaven. She is survived by her loving and adoring husband, Timothy, and her two beautiful children, Kristine and Justin.
Maria was born is Managua, Nicaragua. Her family eventually moved to Guatemala where her mother, Carmen; sisters, Esmeralda and Jennifer; and brother, Albert, still live. Maria moved to Phoenix to be with her husband and begin her family in 2002.
Maria’s strength and courage during her battle with cancer was nothing less than heroic. She will be missed by everyone that knew her. Maria, rest in peace, you lived your life well, you were a great wife, mother and friend.
Services were on July 5 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Ahwatukee. God bless you Maria.
