Kayla Casey, daughter of Marsha and Kevin Casey, received her Spirit Alive Emblem from the Diocese of Phoenix Catholic Committee on Scouting on May 22. This is a program designed for Catholic youth in high school who are in the senior level of Girl Scouts. It assists them in discovering how the Holy Spirit moves in their lives, calling them to greater participation in the church’s ministry. Casey also received the Knights of Columbus Honor Certificate, presented to her by Michael Waltz, as she has completed all four religious emblems available to her beginning in second grade.
