Hyde School honors Bailey for excellence

Sophomore Kristine Bailey of Ahwatukee, daughter of Dr. Kae Yi of Phoenix and Ms. Karen Yi of Phoenix, received the Most Valuable Sophomore Learner in Spanish award(s) at Hyde School.

Local students make Washington University dean’s list

Sara Elizabeth Matsumoto and Katherine Nichole Worley, both from Ahwatukee, were named to the dean’s list at Washington University in St. Louis.

Matsumoto is enrolled in the university’s College of Arts & Sciences. Worley is enrolled in the university’s John M. Olin School of Business.

To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester GPA of 3.6 or above and be enrolled in at least 14 graded units.
