Pam Yantos and David McNiff of Ahwatukee Foothills, and Tony Yantos of Gilbert, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly Ann Yantos, to Harshana Sivananthan, the son of Harindra and Odette Sivananthan of Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Yantos is a 2005 graduate of Desert Vista High School and graduated from Arizona State University in 2009 with a degree in microbiology. She is completing her Masters of Public Health in epidemiology and working as a pathology research assistant.
Sivananthan is a 2001 graduate of Saint Joseph's High School in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and a 2005 graduate of the ASU W.P. Carey School of Business. He is currently working in IT as a project manager.
A September wedding is planned in Phoenix, followed by a reception in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
