Jordan Lippens, 14, has been chosen as a state finalist in the National American Miss Arizona state pageant taking place July 9 and 10 at the Doubletree Paradise Valley Hotel in Scottsdale. The pageant is offered for girls ages 4-18 and has five different age divisions.

Jordan will be competing in the junior teen age division. The pageant nationally awards 1.5 million dollars in cash, scholarships and other prizes, which include a new Ford Mustang convertible.

Jordan is an honor student at Horizon Honors. She enjoys activities at the Ahwatukee Children's Theater, Show Choir Treble Makers, youth group at Desert Foothills United Methodist Church and is on the Chandler Fashion Center teen board.
