Summit School of Ahwatukee 7th-graders win state honors

Josh Pagone and Amber Barto were two of the four Summit School of Ahwatukee seventh graders who scored in the top 10 percent statewide. Summit students Jonathan Booher and Alicia Farr earned an additional distinction by being among the top 10 highest scores in state.

Approximately 600 students participated in the competition, which was open to all Arizona students enrolled in a first-year algebra class.
