Physical day for 2011-12 Mountain Pointe High School athletes will take place on Saturday, May 21 from 8 a.m. to noon in the auxiliary gym, 4201 E. Knox Road.

Athletes are encouraged to come during the time frame set for their sport: Spring sports from 8 to 9:15 a.m.; fall sports from 9:15 to 10:45 a.m. and winter sports from 10:45 a.m. to noon.

This special event is sponsored by MPHS team physicians Dr. Roger McCoy and Ian McCleod, PEAK Physical Therapy therapists Tony Harden and Larry Arnold, personal trainer and Mountain Pointe Sports Medicine staff.

The doctors will conduct quick, but thorough, physicals for $30 in the small gym - this is the gym closest to the Karl Kiefer Football Stadium.

A large portion of the proceeds goes back to the MP Sports Medicine Program. Acceptable forms of payment are cash and check. All checks must have the following on the checks at time of payment: Current address, current phone number, student name and current student ID number.

Prior to this physical day, parents and athletes can pick up physical packets at Mountain Pointe High School in the Athletics Office.

Physical packets will be available on that day as well. Forms will not be mailed out.

Bring student's original state certified birth certificate or passport document(s) - certified copies will be made.

The required $50 activity fee for any sport can be paid during Pride Book Distribution Days July 26-Aug. 3.
