Thiel will discuss her art and inspiration with students during her visit, which will also include a presentation open to the general public at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, in the SMCC Performance Hall at 7050 S. 24th St. Admission is free.

Thiel has exhibited all around the world and her work appears in public and private collections in many countries.
