CGCC will host "27 Million vs. the World" on April 13 and 14 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Student Center Pavilion on the Pecos Campus.

"27 Million vs. The World" is an interactive event that will help participants develop awareness about child labor and its connection to consumer choices. There are 27 million enslaved people across the world and many of them are children. This event features a fair-trade marketplace, biographies on child laborers, information booths about local organizations who work to stop human trafficking, and a call to action for participants who would like to volunteer.

This event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Patrick Williams at (480) 857-5007 or patrick.williams@cgcmail.maricopa.edu.

CGCC is located at 2626 E. Pecos Road in Chandler.
