On Wednesday, Jan. 26, parents of Mountain Pointe and Desert Vista High School seniors will have an opportunity to hear from a University of Arizona representative about admissions, financial aid and housing. The seminar will be presented at 5:30 p.m. in the auditorium at Mountain Pointe. Parents of seniors interested in attending the University of Arizona in the fall of 2011 should plan to attend.

At 6 p.m. that same evening, DVHS and MPHS counselors and a university representative will conduct financial aid night for the parents. Parents will receive information about scholarships (some available only to students who attend the Tempe Union High School district), financial aid, grants and loans. The information presented applies to any college or university students may choose to attend.
