Chandler-Gilbert Community College has been named to the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll with Distinction, the highest federal recognition a college or university can receive for its commitment to volunteering, service-learning and civic engagement. This is the sixth year in a row CGCC has been named to the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll.

Of the 513 colleges and universities from across the U.S. named to the Honor Roll, CGCC was one of 110 that received the recognition, and the only Arizona community college to receive the honor.

The Honor Roll is a program of the Corporation for National and Community Service in collaboration with the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation, the U.S. Department of Education, and the U.S. Department of Education, and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

CGCC is located at 2626 E. Pecos Road in Chandler. For more information, call (480) 732-7030.
