South Mountain Community College's annual fall welcome session for new students, "Passport to the Mountain," is scheduled for Thursday night, Aug. 18, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
The event, which is open to all new students entering the college this fall, includes presentations from faculty and staff, an information expo, refreshments and giveaways, and tours of the college.
All students attending will also receive a copy of the 2011/2012 SMCC student handbook. Registration for the session is not required.
