Desert Vista High School is hosting an informational meeting Wednesday for parents of middle school-aged students. The meeting will be at the Dr. Joe McDonald Auditorium at the school, 16440 S. 32nd St., Feb. 13 starting at 6:30 p.m.

Discussion topics will include information about summer academies, getting a jump start for high school, new state math and science requirements, earning college credit in high school, how middle school courses apply towards high school graduation requirements, and honors courses.

A question and answer period will also be available for attending parents.
