The office of the Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction will present the facts on how College and Career Ready Standards will help children and the state during Kyrene Parent Summit.

Kyrene Parent Summit will take place at Kyrene Akimel A-al Middle School, 2720 E. Liberty Lane, on Thursday, Jan. 30 from 4:45 to 8:30 p.m.

Parent sessions include: Getting ready for kindergarten, teen drug trends with a Tempe narcotics officer, empowerment against bullying, navigating the fifth to sixth grade transition and more.
