As part of its commitment to education, McDonald's Restaurants of Arizona announced it will award a $1,000 classroom supply grant to Kyrene de los Ninos Elementary School located in Tempe in an effort to provide students access to the most relevant and innovative classroom materials. The funds will be used by the recipient to purchase math, science and literacy materials to enhance classroom learning and excite students about math and science exploration. Applications for the McDonald's Classroom Supply Grants were judged on classroom need, number of students, creativity and ability to make good use of supplies.
