As the federal government invests billions of dollars to support energy efficiency and job training in the growing green energy sector, Chandler-Gilbert Community College is responding to the needs of the community by providing training in the rapidly growing field of "green building."

This spring, the CGCC Center for Workforce Development, with the Everblue Training Institute and the Building Performance Institute (BPI), will offer Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Associate Exam Prep courses and Energy Audit Training. LEED is a nationally accepted organization for design, operation and construction of high performance green buildings.
