“How to Cut the Cost of College by Planning Ahead” is the title of the free financial aid night coming to parents of all Tempe High School-aged students on Aug. 29 at 7 p.m.

The workshop reveals the little known secrets to getting the most money possible from financial aid sources as well as ideas on how to get your student accepted to the school of their dreams.

Along with learning about the required paperwork, participants will discover insider tips and techniques to avoid costly mistakes.

Parents will also be given the opportunity to learn their current Expected Family Contribution (EFC) as determined by the federal government.

The workshops are designed to help parents and students beat the ever increasing cost of a college education using strategies that save families money no matter what their income level.

This year’s workshop will be at Mountain Pointe High School, 4201 E. Knox Road.

Reservations are required and can be made by calling (480) 654-6266 or at www.arizonacollegeplanners.com.
