College Depot, located on the second floor of Burton Barr Central Library at 1221 N. Central Ave., will host three free workshops in October: Writing a Winning Scholarship Essay, 5 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5; How to Pay for College (presented in Spanish), 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10; and How to Pay for College, 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27.

College Depot is a full-service college planning center that offers free one-on-one assistance, family consultation and workshops on all aspects of the college planning process, from financial aid to career exploration. The service is open to anyone seeking assistance with planning for college.
