Registration is under way for a new class at the Ahwatukee school starting in January.

Summit School of Ahwatukee’s nationally accredited NAEYC preschool offers parents and toddlers “Toddler Discoveries” for adventurous young children, 18 to 36 months of age and parents or guardians.

Classroom activities include art, building, fine motor development, dramatic play, group stories and songs, with time to play on the school’s park-like playground designed for young children. Adults will also have an opportunity to discuss relevant “Toddler Topics” with an experienced teacher.

The class will meet from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. most Thursday beginning Jan. 31 through April 25.
