The Mountain Pointe Theater Co. will perform Yellow Boat as the first production of the season. This touching and inspiring story is about a young boy's last days, written by acclaimed Arizona author David Saar and based on true experience. Saar has long been an influence in the Arizona art world, founding Childsplay in Tempe.

Show times are at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 2, and 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Sept. 3 and 4, in the school's auditorium at 4201 E. Knox Road. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students.
