Chandler-Gilbert Community College, as part of its "Get Ready to Vote" campaign, will host Alberto Olivas, the Maricopa Community College District Director of the Center for Civic Participation, for a session entitled "Making Sense of the 2010 Ballot Initiatives" from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, in the Performing Arts Center at 2626 E. Pecos Road in Chandler.

This event will provide a non-partisan overview of each upcoming ballot measure and provide a chance for questions and answers. The forum is sponsored by the Maricopa Center for Civic Participation and CGCC's Civic Engagement Committee and is free and open to the public.

For more information, contact Noel Morelos at (480) 857-5194.
