Tempe Union High School District reminds parents and community members about Arizona's Tax Credit Program which allows Arizona taxpayers to donate up to $400* to a school of their choice in support of extracurricular programs and get their entire donation back in the form of a tax credit. Contributions must be postmarked by December 31st to apply the tax credit for 2010. Funds from Tax Credit donations help to offset the costs of extracurricular activities in our schools. These funds can be applied to activity fees, purchase equipment and training aids as well as provide for additional instruction and coaching.
You may either download a Tax Credit donation form or make an online donation on the district's web site (www.tuhsd.k12.az.us) or fill out a form at the district office, 500 W. Guadalupe Rd., Tempe. The district office will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 31 to accept last minute donations.
