AZ YELP (Youth Exemplifying Leadership Principles) was designed to address the critical social and emotional needs of area youth.

The group believes that leadership is defined as one's ability to positively influence others.

Since AZ YELP's inception, Mike Sissel has delivered countless leadership trainings to well over a thousand Valley youth.

A former classroom teacher in the Kyrene School District, Sissel is passionate about helping young leaders reach their full potential.

A workshop will take place June 6-30, Monday through Thursday, at Summit School of Ahwatukee, 4515 E. Muirwood Drive.

There will be three sessions offered: Session 1 (9-10 years old) 9 to 10:30 a.m.; session 2 (11-12 years old) 11 to 12:30 p.m.; session 3 (13-15 years old) 1:30 to 3 p.m. Cost is $195.

To register your child, call Sissel at (480) 229-8767 or email mikesissel@azyelp.com.
