The Kyrene School District invites parents of kindergarten age children to mark their calendars for the 2011-2012 kindergarten orientation to be offered on Thursday, Jan. 20 at 6:30 p.m. at all Kyrene schools. This is for children who will turn five years old on or before Sept. 1, 2011. Each school's principal and kindergarten teachers will present important information about kindergarten. Go to www.kyrene.org and click on the maps/calendars link to locate which school their child will attend. Children who do not make the September 1st cutoff date are encouraged to consider other Kyrene programs. Information on those programs is available at www.kyrene.org/aboutksd/Preschool.htm.
