Chandler-Gilbert Community College is offering "A Passage to Panama" study abroad program from June 14 through June 24, 2012.
The program cost is $2,902 for three credits, or $3,131 for six credits, and includes: round-trip airfare from Phoenix to Panama City, Panama; hotel accommodations for 11 days and 10 nights; a guided boat trip through the Panama Canal; guided tours of historic Panama City, the Canal Zone, and Portobelo and San Lorenzo Spanish fortifications, both World Heritage sites; a visit to an indigenous village-the Embara; a train ride on the Panama Canal Railway; a guided boat trip to explore the wildlife of Panama; and two performances of Panamanian folk dancing.
