CGCC offers new humanities, music classes for spring semester

Registration for the spring 2012 semester is going on at Chandler-Gilbert Community College. This spring, CGCC is offering new humanities and music classes for students to choose from.

"Introduction to U. S. Ethnic Literature" (ENH190) will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:05 to 3:20 p.m. This class offers an introduction to the U.S. ethnic literatures of African Americans, Arab Americans, Asian Americans, Latinas/os, Native Americans, Mixed Race, and other emerging ethnic groups through various expressions.

Jazz Theory (MTC130) will be on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:40 to 1:30 p.m. This class will enable students to develop written and aural theory skills necessary in the jazz idiom.
