The fifth annual Mountain Pointe High School Lionhearts Band Invitational will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at the school, 4201 E. Knox Road.
Bands from around the valley and the state will present their 2010 marching programs for judge's ratings. Bands receiving an "Excellent" or better will qualify for state competition in late October.
Admission is $5 per person, and concessions will be available for purchase.
