The sixth annual Cool Bus STUFF contest kicks off with an invitation to all third graders in Maricopa County that love to draw. With the theme Green Means Go - Go Valley Metro, Valley youths are encouraged to demonstrate their artistic ability by showing how transit can be fun, safe and help the Earth. The objective of the contest is to promote awareness and excitement about public transportation.

Judging will be based on successfully illustrating one of the three themes (Go Valley Metro to fun places, Go Valley Metro the safe way and Go Valley Metro and help planet Earth), as well as creativity and neatness. Thirteen students will win fun prizes, including a certificate and a framed copy of their winning artwork.

Entries will be accepted until Friday, Oct. 8, and entry forms are available at http://bit.ly/amQeHf.

For more information about the contest, contact Dolores Nolan at (602) 262-4001.
