The love and affection felt from a furry friend is undeniable, but the Arizona Search and Rescue dogs take it a step further — they save lives. On Wednesday, April 4, from 5 to 8 p.m. Scramble, the Valley’s dog friendly breakfast joint at 9832 N. 7th St. in Phoenix, will be hosting a breakfast for dinner event at exclusive hours to benefit the Arizona Search Dogs. Bring the kids to meet and play with the four-legged celebrities of the night, sit in and play in a fire engine, and enjoy a great meal as well.
A percentage of total sales of breakfast for the night will go directly to the Search Dogs to help continue their training and allow them to keep running the rescue.
Arizona Search Dogs is a nonprofit organization that trains, certifies, and develops Canine Search Specialist teams to be mobilized with Urban Search and Rescue Task Forces and to assist state and local jurisdictions in urban and wilderness search and rescue activities. The teams have been deployed to the World Trade Center, flooding in Houston, New Orleans for Hurricane Katrina, and more.
