The Arizona Animal Welfare League and SPCA 2010 Walk to Save Animals will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at Tempe Town Lake Beach Park, 80 W. Rio Salado Parkway, Tempe.

Grab your sneakers and call on your friends and family to join you at the annual event, which includes a 2K and 5K walk with your pet (at your own pace). Help AAWL & SPCA save thousands of homeless animals each year and place them in the good care of a loving family.

Raise $25 minimum to enter the Walk or $50 for a Walk T-shirt. Meet your PetMatch (adorable, adoptable dogs), visit the Mobile Pet Clinic for low cost vaccines, bring wet or dry dog/cat food and receive one ticket for the Rescue Raffle (per item donated), cheer alongside the Phoenix Suns Gorilla and enjoy a tasty treat at the food court. The event will also include bounce houses, face painting, photos with Santa, pet vendors and more.

For more information or to sign up, visit www.aawl.org or call (480) 423-1511.
