The fourth annual Healing Hearts Gala will take place Saturday, Nov. 6, at Brett's Barn located at Westworld in Scottsdale. Funds raised will benefit the animals of Healing Hearts Animal Rescue and Refuge.

Established in 2005, Healing Hearts is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of abused and neglected animals as determined by law enforcement or other animal agencies. Domestic companion and farm animals of all kinds (horses, dogs, cats, pigs, goats, sheep, burros and rabbits) find a safe haven at this unique and dedicated no-kill facility.

The night's festivities begin at 6 p.m. and include a horse presentation, a tour of the mobile surgical veterinary unit, cocktail hour and silent auction followed by a gourmet humanely farmed/organic buffet dinner, live auction and dancing to the boot scootin' music of The Big Zephyr Band. Guests are encouraged to come dressed in their best "gems and jeans."

Individual tickets, $90, are available at www.healingheartsaz.org. Limited sponsorship opportunities are available. For more information, call (480) 279-5135 or e-mail TDootson@healingheartsaz.org.
