The Arizona Animal Welfare League and Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (AAWL & SPCA) is offering two unique camps this summer: Camp Ruffin' It, a day camp for kids ages 6 through 12, and Camp Vet, a career-exploration program, for ages 12 through 15.

Both camps offer interactive learning opportunities within smaller, age-appropriate groups. To optimize the experience, space in all sessions is limited. Summer day camps also feature hands-on learning about animal care, training and safety, plus close encounters with exotic pets.

The camps are especially convenient for parents who work in and around downtown Phoenix. They take place at the AAWL & SPCA facility at 30 N. 40th Place in central Phoenix, near 40th Street and Washington.
