It’s that time of year again! Friends for Life Animal Rescue is accepting donations for its annual yard sale that will be happening April 5-7 at the shelter, 143 W. Vaughn Ave. in downtown Gilbert.

Enjoy “Early Bird” shopping from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 5 for a $5 donation; regular sale is on Saturday, April 6 from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and from 8 to 10 a.m. on Sunday, April 7 you can fill your car with a $25 donation.

Donations can be dropped off at the shelter during office hours. Whether you donate gently used items or come by and shop, the animals need your help to make this even a success.

All donations are tax deductible.

This year’s sale is in honor of a Husky, with a case of non-contagious mange, that the shelter took in through one of its caring foster homes. She had 9 puppies that night, on Jan. 23. All are doing wonderful and will be up for adoption in mid- to late-April.
