The U.S. Department of Education has awarded a $300,000 grant to the Maricopa Community Colleges to enhance The East Valley Veterans Education Center which will be located on 2055 S. Cottonwood Drive in Tempe. Creation of the Education Center means that for the first time, East Valley veterans can obtain guidance to pursue higher education in one location.     This is great for the Vets - Great work by the Maricopa Community Colleges - Kudos to those writing the grant. The community colleges are for all the students - MCCD is a supportive community college district and hope people will support this district with positive feedback.

    Anything for our vets I say.
