GCC designated a Military Friendly School

GateWay Community College was recently selected again by G.I. Jobs magazine as a Military Friendly School for 2011 because of the college's dedication to providing military veterans with a quality education. According to G.I. Jobs, "the list honors the top 15 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools which are doing the most to embrace America's veterans as students." With this designation, GateWay will be recommended by the magazine as a quality school that serves veterans well.

Criteria to be considered a Military Friendly School includes but is not limited to providing resources and support through services such as offering accredited programs, work-force training, counseling, benefit certification, a student Veterans Club and much more.
