The Tempe Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3632 is hosting its almost 10th Annual Frank Gorman Memorial Golf Classic starting at 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at the Apache Wells Golf Club in Mesa.
Golfers and hole sponsors are needed for the event. Prize money will be earned on the course, and every golfer will receive a prize along with lunch at the Tempe American Legion Post.
Hole sponsorships are available for $100 and $500. Cash donations will also be gladly accepted. The Tempe Veterans of Foreign Wars is a 501(c) organization, so donations are tax deductible.
Proceeds will help the VFW fulfill goals of supporting yearly programs such as Homeless Veterans Support, Elementary & High School Voice of Democracy Scholarships, Military Family Assistance and the VA Hospital Fund.
