American Legion Auxiliary seeking volunteers

The American Legion Auxiliary is an organization with nearly 1 million women across the country, devoted to America’s veterans, young people and our local communities. The group is looking for women of all ages to join them in volunteering.

You may join the American Legion Auxiliary if you are a mother, wife, sister, daughter, granddaughter, great-granddaughter, or great-great-granddaughter of a veteran of World War I or II, Korean War, Vietnam, Lebanon/Grenada, Panama, the Persian Gulf War, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom.

Eligibility also applies to step and adopted relatives. Females who served in these conflicts may join in their own right.

The next meeting is on Wednesday, Nov. 7 at American Legion Auxiliary Unit 2, 2125 S. Industrial Park Ave. in Tempe.
