Mindful eating workshops

The Living Well Retreats (www.thelivingwellretreats.com), provider of wellness programs, retreats, workshops and classes, announces an eight-week "Eat What You Love, Love What You Eat" mindful eating workshop series beginning in this month.

The workshop series will be taught by Dawn Rutledge, Am I Hungry? facilitator, founder of The Living Well Retreats, Holy Yoga master instructor and former owner of Curves Ahwatukee.

Two workshops options are available for participants depending on their needs. The live series will take place on Fridays Sept. 3 to Oct. 29 (no class Oct. 1) at Mountain Park Community Church, 2408 E. Pecos Road. This series will include several field trips were participants will practice mindful eating at the new Pomegranate Café, 4025 E. Chandler Blvd. The series via web/teleconference will run Wednesdays Sept. 1 to Oct. 27 (no class Sept. 29).

The cost is $185 for all materials and instruction, with an early bird discount of $25 if participants register by Aug. 20. Advance registration is required as space is limited. Participants can register online at http://amihungyfall2010.eventbrite.com/.
