Walgreens and Take Care Clinics now offering flu shots at all locations
Walgreens and Take Care Clinics are now offering the most comprehensive flu shot program in the United States. Flu shots are available at all 7,500 Walgreens stores and the more than 350 Take Care Clinics during nearly all pharmacy and clinic hours, with walk-ins welcome.
Only one flu shot is required this season, as the 2010/11 flu vaccine will protect against H1N1 as well as two other seasonal flu viruses - an influenza B and H3N2 virus. Take Care Clinics are also offering the pneumonia vaccine, which is recommended for people who are at high-risk for flu including all adults age 65 and older.
