Ride for World Health will arrive in Phoenix on Monday, April 11 from Buckeye, after hosting a solidarity ride. The ride is a 3,700-mile bicycle ride from San Diego to D.C. in April and May to promote education, awareness of global and domestic health concerns and raise funds for MedWish International, AHOPE for Children and PODEMOS.
The solidarity ride will begin in Buckeye, Sunday April 10; at 10 a.m. at the southeast corner of Scottsdale and Shea, 7229 E. Shea Blvd. The solidarity rides will only be in select cities, listed on the website and is a way for individuals to take part and show support with only a small donation.

Ride for World Health is a non-profit organization consisting of a group of medical students, health care professionals, and community representatives cycling across the country providing education and awareness on health care. Along the journey they will stop at locations across the United States to discuss issues related to health care in the U.S. Also issues worldwide related to poverty, disease, health care access, women’s and children’s health and infectious diseases.
